Among the craft stabilized historically at Gubbio, particularly important are the pottery working, wrought iron and ceramic.
Gubbio had great development in the late fifteenth and mid-sixteenth century and good eating is also part of a long tradition. The Eugubina kitchen, genuine and simple, uses mostly local produce: beef from the mountain pastures, cheeses and cold meats, salads of different qualities of herbs, olive oil and wines of the hilly areas, mineral waters of the Apennine range ( some of which have therapeutic properties).
